Christchurch has been something of a blank canvas for street artists from all around the world, and now street art has gone indoors at the YMCA with the Spectrum Street Art Festival. The exhibition of street art is on until May 10th and admission is absolutely free. It’s quite stunning what the artists have put together – wonderfully talented people.

I rather liked the interactive exhibit where you could add yourself to the artwork – and I couldn’t resist a selfie with my other half. Though, if you take it with a real camera is it still a selfie?

Quite stunning, and just to think in terms of all the other fine masterpieces throughout the city, the Google Street Art Project has completely missed the gold mine at Christchurch all together! Tsk, tsk
