A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
This is the historic Riccarton House which is located in the suburb of Riccarton and is surrounded by gardens with mature trees and a native New Zealand bush section. It’s a lovely spot and as you enter the native bush section it’s hard to believe you are still in the central city. The house was the home to the pioneering Deans family, the first Europeans to settle the Canterbury Plains.
Absolutely stunning.
