Not to be confused with Shag Rock at Sumner Beach, this is a Shag on a Rock at Sumner Beach! It sat there intently for at least 90 minutes (the length of my walk along the beach and ice cream consumption on the way back). It looks like the shag is watching all of the surfers.

Beautiful capture, and I’m sure it’s a sight you’ll remember forever too as compared to other sights we all see every day but are forgotten all too soon, even by the next day. In fact, I suspect you’ll remember the whole experience whilst at the beach that day, thanks to this Shag on a rock.
