I got along to the CityUps event that is part of FESTA. It was fantastic – so much to look at and who doesn’t like pretty colourful lights. Such an awesome accomplishment by all of those involved and it was wonderful to see so many people in the city enjoying themselves. FESTA is the festival of transitional architecture – probably an ‘only in Christchurch’ type event due to the fact that we have entire city blocks empty.
