There’s a floral shop back on Bridle Path Road at the Aromaunga property (they moved to Port Hills Road after the earthquakes). The business is now called Aromaunga Baxters Flowers. There’s also the Aromaunga Flowers at the Tannery – but these are now two separate businesses.

I’m really pleased to have the floral shop back and open, as it’s easy to get to, parking is a breeze and I don’t always need a formal floral arrangement. Often all I’m after is just a few tulips or brightly coloured Gerberas to cheer up my desk – though I did come home with gerberas, roses and fressias!

If you visit (they are at 116 Bridle Path Road) don’t be alarmed if a large Alsatian dog comes over for a pat, it’s just Missy and she’s quite old and very gentle – even happily posing for my camera.

It seems a while since there was any dog featured … lovely old Alsation!
