40 on the Hill

2014-06-24-14

These 40 signs are popping up all over the Mt Pleasant hill. It’s an initiative by Mt Pleasant Primary school to get traffic to slow down. As a local I totally agree with a slower speed on this hill – there are a lot of blind corners and difficult roads to cross. Even as an adult out walking I am often a bit nervous of the traffic, even more so since the rebuilding on the hill has ramped up – with a lot of tradespeople and trucks going up and down the main roads. So well done to the local school pupils! I believe they will be getting some publicity tonight on Campbell Live.
