I took a walk up the Bridle Path today and took this picture with my smart phone camera. Quite a dusting of snow on the hills and we had a really cold start to the day but it was nice and fine. Walking up the Bridle Path is certainly a great way to keep walk as it’s a steep climb. The Bridle Path is very historic as it was the track that the early settlers used to get to Christchurch from the port in Lyttelton. They had to bring everything they owned over that track. There are bench seats along the way to remember those who were on the first ships to Christchurch.
