I love the gates into Hagley Park – they are such a nice understated but classic entrance. I took this photo while standing on Riccarton Road by the roundabout there. While doing so I was able to watch some pretty senseless driving. People seem to lose all patience and moderation when going through that roundabout. Why it hasn’t been turned into lights yet is anyone’s guess. I know I certainly don’t enjoy navigating it!
