Allandale Reserve is near Governors Bay (which is over the hills from Christchurch on the Banks Peninsula). The reserve has a 3km walkway that you can cycle or walk on and goes between the reserve and Governors Bay. It’s a lovely spot. The tide was out while I was there, so it was an opportunity to photograph it with the mud flats.
