The city suburb of Sydenham was quite severely affected by the series of earthquakes Christchurch experienced – with many buildings being demolished. New buildings are going up though, and this one on Colombo street looks to be fairly close to being finished. It’s nice to see progress and new buildings, as new buildings bring more people into an area which of course revitalises it.

Love the contrast of the new building and the Coffee Zone next door.
