In an attempt to burn off some of our Christmas over-indulgence, we walked from Ferrymead to Shag Rock today. It’s quite overcast today over on the west side of the city, but by the sea we had some blue sky and sunshine – but also some rain and wind. Overall it’s been quite a muggy day and rather  a mixed-bag weather-wise. But the walk was very pleasant if a little tiring at about 11km.

Just finished checking out Taylor’s Mistake surf webcam (surf’s up!) and then dropped in over here and see your picture of the same kind of weather on the same sunny day already posted. Talk about being fast!

Love this beautiful view you captured from around the other side of the bend!
