I took a few cellphone snaps today while shopping for a vintage handbag at Madam Butterfly’s on Ferry Road. The store is located at 477 Ferry Road and is a treasure trove of vintage goodness. If you love pretty things and anything vintage-styled, then you will love this shop – it’s full of beautiful hats, shoes, clothing and other wonderful bits and bobs. Melanie and Michelle are a delight and very helpful – I ended up coming away with the perfect handbag for a Victorian-styled outfit which I have put together for the Heritage Weekend in Oamaru.
