Ironside House

DSC01925

This is Ironside House on the corner of Salisbury and Montreal streets. It’s recently been restored after damage sustained due to our series of earthquakes. It’s now also the home of a new restaurant called Harlequin Public House which I must check out sometime soon!

Public Houses must have become a worldwide trend in the past year or so as we have a lot of them springing up in the US too – a new (old) word for Pubs? Good food and drinks though!
