The Sydenham Pod Park is a new park in the Sydenham business district (right by the Coffee Zone cafe caravan). It’s a joing effort between the City Council, Beca, Sydenham Quaret and local Sydenham businesses. It’s on the site of the Beverleys’ Buildings which were destroyed in the February 2011 earthquake.

It’s rather a funky looking pod and will no doubt be a popular lunch spot as the weather improves. I’m looking forward to taking more photos of it over the coming months as the plants grow and the flowers bloom.
