I was in Scarborough this morning and went for a walk up Whitewash Head Road. It’s a great spot to get some good photos of the city and the mountains, but only if the day is clear and the mountains are visible. Today, was not one of those days. Instead I got moody atmospheric photos of everything else. These are a few of my favourite photos from the walk.
Pride of Medeira flowering along the cliffs.
A stunning wattle in flower with the surf and hills in the background.
Proteas in flower – they are all over the seaside hills.
Waves crashing against the rocks.
What I think is some kind of flowering Aloe.
A very pale Pride of Madeira plant with a bee about to land on it. This was a beautiful colour.
