The Tannery is a new boutique shopping centre in Woolston. I’ve been quietly waiting to get a chance to see the inside of it and was pleased to find out that some shops have in fact opened (I’m not sure when). So I popped along there today with three girlfriends in tow to check it out. It was a miserable day here today – wet and cold, so a great excuse to go shopping.
Today was also a test of my new ‘second’ camera. I got myself a Samsung Wi-Fi camera as small backup camera to throw into the bag when I don’t want to take out the Sony. It was a dull day, so I’m not sure this is the best condition for it, but it certainly comes with quite a few bells and whistles including the ability to upload photos directly to Facebook from the camera.
Smith’s Bookshop – just try getting out of there without buying a book or something interesting like old postcards or photos or beautiful stationary, I sure didn’t! This shop has a way of drawing you in with it’s excellent selection of books.
The window to Toi Toi – a shop that can always be relied upon to have fabulous things you really, really want to own.
It will be great to see the shopping complex finished and everyone moved in.
