Waxeye in the Garden

I haven’t see many wax eyes about of late, but they seem to have come back to the garden in full force now. This one and a few of his friends, were very interested in the wild fennel that is growing in our back yard.

    It was a lucky shot – as these birds move really quickly. I got a lot of out of focus ones, so very pleased a couple were in focus. I didn’t notice the spider web until I downloaded the photo – gives it a nice touch I think!
