I went into Victoria Square about 7.30pm this evening to take photos with my photo club. It’s a surreal place to be at any time of the day now, but particularly surreal on a Sunday evening.

Not sure of the fate of the building that had the National Bank in it. I’ve always really liked it and sincerely hope it can stay. I’m not sure if the Forsyth Barr building (the large one to the left) is staying or not.

    In the Town Hall photo, I’m glad to see the poupou across the circle in the background is still standing tall — quite a wonderful and symbolic work of Maori art this is!
