It got to a high to 26 degrees today – and was very sunny with just a little breeze. Perfect weather to go bargain shopping at the Shabby Chic Market Day. And I sure came home with some bargains. A very cute biscuit tin for 4 dollars, a dress for $5 dollars, a bangle for $2 dollars and some bone china tea cups.

It’s my favourite Christchurch market, and judging by the number of people that come each month I suspect it’s a lot of other people’s favourite market. If you missed today’s don’t worry, they are having another one next week! It’s usually a monthly market, but in the lead up to Christmas they’ve put another one on. 21 Connal Street in Woolston is the location. Look for the bike on the bridge on Rutherford Street.
