This is the Hope Bear mural by artist Tess Sheerin. The bear has been painted onto a wall at the corner of Riccarton Road and Rotherham Street. The mural is part of a wider project by Gap Filler and Greening the Rubble – as you can see below they’ve put in colourful seating and pavers.
