There’s a new market started in Heathcote Valley. It’s on every Wednesday 2-5pm at the Cricket Club car park up from the school on Bridle Path Rd. As you can see from the photos, this is a place to tempt you into breaking a diet with tasty treats like Macrons, pastries, curry mince pies, meringues and fresh bread. Of course, if you are not on a diet, feel free to go crazy and buy one of everything!

There’s also fresh produce and plants on sale. I came home with some Livingstone Daisies for my garden and was very tempted by the beautiful Bougainvillea plants that were there. I think I’ll have to go back next week and get one!

Once of the best things about having a market down the road is that you can get very localised advice. For example, the man selling the Bougainvillea plants knew exactly the type of soil and weather conditions I have to contend with.

So, if you are in the area or even nearby like me, get down and support them next Wednesday.

    Hello
I would like to book a table at this market, if possible.
    Thanks Ira
