I took a walk down Victoria Street today – starting from near the Salisbury Street intersection. I was wondering how much of the Forsyth Barr building could be seen (most of it) and whether the rubble left over the Crown Plaza demolition was still there (yes, still quite a bit).

The first thing that caught my eye was the street art paper drawing that was stuck to the side of the Victoria Mansions building.

Looked like foundations were going down here
Another building gone, I can't even remember what this was…
The Forsyth Barr building in the foreground – apparently it will not be demolished.
I still find it bizarre how people (including myself) just walk around the fences!
The back of the Town Hall – hopefully it can be saved.
The sign says it all…
