This is in Ferrymead. There used to be a Countdown Supermarket here and another building was between the supermarket and the Sails building which is still standing (and has businesses operating out of it).

It’s a little bleak, but that is the reality of an overcast and rainy day in Christchurch with empty lots springing up all over the place. If you blink, you can miss a building coming down in your own neighbourhood.

I really hope a new supermarket will be rebuilt quickly…
