I went to my first ever Roller Derby event tonight. Yikes it looks tough, there’s a lot of falling down (note the pretty serious knee pads they’ve got). It was team Gaga version team Glee.

I went to my first ever Roller Derby event tonight. Yikes it looks tough, there’s a lot of falling down (note the pretty serious knee pads they’ve got). It was team Gaga version team Glee.
They need serious knee pads! One of the teams here in the UK posts photos of their best or worst injuries. Here in Leeds we have a couple of teams, they have invited me to go see them a few times. Its great fun, but I still have no idea how the scoring works, too busy with camera.
