Hearts for Christchurch – display at the Museum

I nearly missed this exhibit at the museum. I’m very pleased I didn’t as it is quite moving and I will admit to getting a lump in my throat thinking about how much work people from all around the world put into making and sending these hearts to Christchurch. Many of the ones I read were from people who’d experienced their own natural disasters and felt empathy with us after our earthquakes. In short I really did feel the love and caring for our city.

Love from California USA
We've certainly got a lot of hope for the future
There are around 4,000 hearts from all over the world
