A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
Part of a tree that is on Linwood Avenue (the far east end of Linwood Avenue). I was trying to get a different photo altogether – one of the trees and the grass with the daffodils but it wasn’t working entirely to my satisfaction. Then I turned around and saw the late afternoon light was hitting the branches of the trees behind me.
It looks like a park in the middle of a road – for those of you unfamiliar with the this part of Linwood Avenue there are two car lanes on either side.
