A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
These cabbage trees are on the edge of the quarry near the track. I was there today with my photo club and the 4.5 quake we had today happened just as several of us where on the stone slates near the edge. The ground wobbled underneath us – but we did not feel it as strongly as people on the east side of Christchurch. It certainly added a little bit of excitement to the outing!
