A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
I took some photos in Hagley Park today – just as it started raining and blowing a gale! But it didn’t seem to bother this wee fellow, who I believe is a Chaffinch (though I could be wrong). He or she was very interested in me (and the bugs I was probably kicking up from the ground!) – in fact at one point I couldn’t focus my camera any more as the bird was about 6 inches away from my feet!
Would you be willing to sell a copy of your 2 Chaffinch bird photos? My maiden name is Chaffin and I am always on the lookout for photos of Chaffinches – but can never find one. I am in the US, and Chaffinches are indigenous to European countries from what I understand. Your 2 photos of the Chaffinch in Hagely Park are lovely! I especially like the front view shot.
Please let me know if you would be willing to sell a copy of each shot, and send them to me here in the US. Let me know the cost of the photos and of the shipping.
