Driving past these containers is quite intimidating as it’s right in your face at just how much risk there is driving under these cliffs. I actually walked to Sumner for these photos (from Ferrymead) and walking gives you a whole other perspective. I was a bit alarmed to see shipping containers along a stretch of Main Road that I had walked along a few weeks back without any container protection!
Without your posts I would have no idea how many kinds of problems earthquakes can cause.
