I’ve driven along Fitzgerald Avenue quite a lot recently and have observed a lot of people photographing the rather large crack in the road – so thought it was time I got my shot before they fixed it up! And what a crack it is… could be some time before it’s sorted. For me, this photo typifies how Christchurch is just getting on with things despite the bumps and detours. One things for sure, even three months on from the quake you want to keep both hands on the steering wheel when you’re driving!
