Sunset Tonight

The sky tonight – I nearly missed it as I was still at my computer working away! Glad I didn’t, as I needed a little pick me up – we’ve had several sharp after shocks today (this morning) and they were very close, in fact they felt like they were under the house! The shock came through at about 6.00am. We lost power for about half an hour. Just yesterday I was thinking that things were starting to quieten down. And then I remembered that it seems that every time I think we’ve gone into a quiet seismic period we get a cluster of after shocks to remind us. The ones today have all been around the Heathcote area not far from us. A few things fell off the shelves but thankfully no more broken stuff.
