The Loons Lyttelton

I had lunch at The Loons in Lyttelton today. It’s rather a funky place with its upside down lamps hanging from the walls. I had a slice of their carrot cake and it was very yummy.

I was in Lyttelton with some friends who had not seen the town since the earthquake in February. They were in a bit of shock at the damage and the buildings that were already gone – just a vacant spot left now.
