Black cat

The next door neighbour has two cats (a little tabby) and this black one. Both of them roam over this side of the fence like it’s an extension of home, but they are both always surprised to see me – it doesn’t seem to matter how many times they see me watching them, they always act like they’ve just been busted doing something naughty. I’d been watching this wee guy have a drink out of the wheelbarrow but was not quick enough with the camera to capture him drinking – he darted away as soon as he realised he was being observed!

As you can tell from the amount of water in the wheelbarrow, we’ve had a bit of rain lately. We’ve also had rather a lot of wind and the temperature has dropped considerably. The balmy days of summer are now but a fading memory.
