Duck Reflection

I went for a stroll through the botanic gardens today and took dozens of photos of flowers – once I start I can’t seem to stop snapping them. I’d put the camera away and was walking back to the car park when I spotted this Paradise duck checking out its reflection in the window of the information centre. Needless to say the camera came out pretty quickly!

I’ve been away for 10 days down south in the remote Fiordland National Park on a tramp (hike), hence the lack of blog posts – you can’t even get cell-phone reception down there.

Thought maybe you were away. Did you have a good time?
Love this duck, very colourful and a new one on me. I sometimes feed the ducks on our local bit of canal, especially like now when the weather puts many people off.
