Early this afternoon I got along to the Riccarton Market (New Zealand’s largest outdoor market) and had a good look around. I got so interested in anything that I forget to take photos, and had to go back and around the rows and take some quick snaps for the blog! I don’t get along to the market often enough – probably because it has too many temptations. But it does have its bargains as well, I came back with some boots for $4, a large bunch of pink peonie flowers for $5 and a walking pole for $20 (an essential tool for tramping in New Zealand). The market finishes at 2, but we got there around noon, and that was plenty of time to do a few circuits.
How very eclectic!
