I’ve always been fascinated by the New Zealand wood pigeon. They are colourful and big, in fact they look too big to fly.  They are also a bit clumsy. I was wondering around the Botanic gardens this morning and came across this pigeon atop of a large tree having quite a feast on the flowers.  I stayed watching him for about 20 minutes but then I wondered later if if was in fact he who was watching me?
