This sculpture is on Disraeli Street opposite Odd Fellows cafe. Beside the sculpture is a quote from Benjamin Disraeli “Is man an ape or an angel? I, my lord, I am on the side of the angels.” Many of the streets around this part of Christchurch are named after famous writers. For example, Wordsworth Street turns into Shakespeare Road.
