Misty Park by Stephen

Taken by my friend Stephen. This is Hagley Park early yesterday morning (he was up before the lights went off!). It was as you can see, very misty. It stayed that way most of the morning, but came out sunny with blue skies in the afternoon. I’m sure Steve will swing by the blog for a look, so please free to leave a comment for him!

I barely noticed the ducks in the pond. The lights in the background give it an eerie feel, love the effect looks like a dark movie plot ‘-)

Love the rich contrasting colors and how the duck counteract the stillness of the fog.

How drop dead gorgious is this photo! How stunningly incredible? It is amazingly beautiful – could be anywhere in the world, but captures the beginning of a day that I have never seen in my 3 score years and ………. and I have lived in NZ for most of them, although, admittedly, not in the South Island. I never cease to be amazed at the wonderful capture of my country through the camera’s eyes. I REALLY love this shot.
