bare-tree-heathcote

I took this photo standing from a bridge that goes over the heathcote river (you can just make out the water). It would have to be one of my favourite photos from this Autumn. The light was just lovely, and my intention was to get a shot with good bokeh (a term I’ve just learned and discussed recently with a friend of mine).

Not sure why I like the starkness of bare trees so much!
