Pretty Tree

pretty-tree

I was sitting under this tree at the Dux de lux restaurant. Isn’t it pretty? Ten minutes before taking this shot I had resolved not to take any more ‘pretty tree’ photos (having snapped every tree from Cathedral Square down to the Arts Centre!). But as you see, I couldn’t resist this one!

It is that time of year down there. It is the opposite up here. I heard or watched a program on television last night that the seasons might change one of these days. If certain things happen.

Hi Michelle, been following your daily photos for a few months now, but I have a question: where are the rainy day shots!? It’s certainly nice to get a warm colourful photo on a cold gray day, but where are the photos of the amazing rain and hail we’ve been having lately?? That said, the tree above is beautiful!

Michael, very good question! I am a wuss, so don’t like being cold or wet! But I did venture out one wet day two weekends ago and got this shot https://www.christchurchdailyphoto.com/2009/05/10/rain-drops/.

Lol it came out lovely and I think we all made (and then broke) a promise to ourselves of no more pretty leaf shots…
