This is Adelaide Central Railway Station, Australia. I didn’t have any photos of Adelaide, having not been there since I was a kid. So this photo is from sxc.hu and is by Neil Gould
This is a revelation. Aside from the fact that this is a splendid photo I hadn’t any idea Adelaide has such a formidable station.
When I visited Adelaide I didn’t see the station but I honestly imagined it as a smallish building along side the railway tracks. Wrong again.
I don’t know if it will happen but I’ve always hoped to ride the Indian Pacific to Perth.
