
It snowed in Christchurch yesterday (not a lot but enough to leave the hill suburbs with a dusting of snow). So today I made my way up to the cashmere hills and took this shot in the park at the Sign of the Takahe.

It snowed in Christchurch yesterday (not a lot but enough to leave the hill suburbs with a dusting of snow). So today I made my way up to the cashmere hills and took this shot in the park at the Sign of the Takahe.
An amazing photograph, beautiful colours, I can just feel the chill! Hope it doesn’t last long. Good photo opportunities though! Cheers!

Beautiful shot — makes me think of Christmas! I wish we had a cold snap around my neck of the woods — temps are around 100 — I rather be cold than hot any day. As the saying goes, you can always put more on, but can’t always take more off! 🙂
