bridal-window.jpg

This dress was in the window of the Louise Anderson Bridal Design shop.  My sister and I walked passed it last night and I wouldn’t have noticed, but as my sister is a whizz on the sewing machine, she wondered if the bridal display was actually draped material rather than an actual dress.  I tried to find a seam but couldn’t (but it was dark and late when we went by). So I resolved to go back today and take a picture.  It’s been a grey old day here in Christchurch, so I needed a flash to take the pic. The shop is on Lichfield Street just down from the Minx Bar & Restaurant.

Whether it’s draped or sewn, it looks very elegant!

The bottom is scalloped, so it must be a dress!
Often for fabric stores, the window displays are merely draped. I’d imagine for a clothing store that they’d be constructed.

    wonderful blog!
