It got to 27 degrees today, so during our walk around the city I remembered there was a new ice cream place on High Street – Duck Island. Unfortunately, lots of other people had a same idea, and I’m too old and impatient to queue that long for ice cream! So we went to The Five Lanes and got an ice cream from The Milk Bar (with a normal level of waiting!). It was really pleasant sitting under the umbrellas eating our ice creams and watching teh world go by.

The image below shows the queue I couldn’t cope with. I will get there eventually… just maybe not on a hot weekend day.

While at High Street, did you get a chance to capture a photo of the “Flour Power” sculpture?

No I didn’t. I have photographed years ago and it is on the blog.

I remember those (two different occasions I believe). I was just curious if there were any different unique angles for a photo since the city has changed so much over the years.

Hi there, this design is great! Do you have any knowledge as to who makes them? I’d love to purchase…
