A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
The red zone is a large area of what we’re once suburbs in eastern Christchurch. Due to our earthquakes the land was red zoned and the houses removed. Many of the trees and shrubs were kept and it’s quite beautiful.
A small piece of the stunning rhododendron came home with me and I’ll try to propagate it from my cutting.
