We have had a lot of grey days the last couple of weeks. Sometimes we also get rain. But not today. Finally the sunshine came out and there was blue sky. A perfect Canterbury day for napping in the Square, cycling, or just wandering around.
I love this scene you captured at Cathedral Square as it looks so tranquil, and between the autumn colours and the artworks, and blue sky, it really makes this to be like a picture postcard. Michelle, you do have quite a talent with your photography!
If only my hometown city had a square like this, and one this big, its potentials could absolutely transform the city in ways our city leaders would never have imagined. Christchurch is very fortunate to have had city planners who visions in the past have produced such wonderful results that live on to this day.
