I often go into the gardens to take photos of flowers and trees, but frequently I get sidetracked by the bird life in the gardens. I’m fascinated by birds and love to watch them in the wild. The little Chaffinch at the top of the photo was quite happy hopping around and near me, it kept an eye on me, but it didn’t seem too nervous. The black bird I am convinced was actually posing for me. And the little fantail, well he’s a little flirt and a tease. One day I WILL get a properly in focus photo of a fantail with a full tail display!
