I’ve been meaning to check out Retropolitan for quite some time. I finally got to have a look around and it really is packed full of wonderful retro things. I ended up buying a couple of things, an old style letter holder that hangs on the wall, and a little present for a friend.

Highly recommended. See their website http://www.retropolitan.co.nz/ for more info.

Now if you are a fan of anything old, vintage, shabby, chic, etc, I discovered that there will be a new antique store opening up on Ferry road in a few months. I got a sneak peak of it, and was stunned at the stuff they had in their huge space. They won’t be opening for a while yet, but I can guarantee I will be a regular visitor once they do.
