I had heard that there was a large flock of Royal Spoonbills at McCormacks Bay, so decided to investigate for myself. I would love to have gotten a bit closer to them, but the causeway is now closed for repairs. The birds didn’t seem to mind the surveyor – not the least bit spooked by him.
