A daily photo from Ōtautahi, Christchurch, New Zealand
They say the early bird gets the worm. Well the early photographer gets to see early morning light. But this is a little more than just early morning light. It’s how it’s concentrated entirely on the city. It seems so symbolic to me. Apparently, the sun needs to be shining around our local hills through a gap in the clouds at sunrise (according to my local weather man!).
